Connector CatalogVeam ConnectorsElectrical Connectors Interchangeable with Litton-Veam CIR and SocapexWe are manufacturing electrical connectors that are interchangeable with Litton-Veam CIR and Socapex series. The Litton-Veam CIR electrical connector replaces the AC connector, and places AC Power, Audio and RMS data into one multipin, quick make and break, environmentally sealed multipin connector. This type of connector was originally designed for the harsh environment of the transit industry. Latest versions of the Litton-Veam connector can be used for road and long-term indoor and outdoor installations. The connector's contacts are fully sealed when the connector is mated. Features of the Litton - Veam CIR electrical connectors include: The pin blocks are designed for a make-first, break-last connection on AC and audio ground. The fully modular Veam connector Series utilizes removable pins and sockets, changeable back shells, coupling nuts and strain relief's, making the connector easy to service. Our SCPB connector series for rail - transportation industry employs a quick-release coupling mechanism and is available in 12 shell sizes 10SL thru 40 (22.8mm" to 72.4mm" diameter). Contact sizes are 18 to 4/0 in more than 500 insert arrangements with a maximum of 150 size 18 contacts. Connectors are available in environmental and non-environmental classes and offer EMI/RFI protection. Inserts are supplied in neoprene (standard) halogen-free or diesel fuel resistant materials. Various backshell styles allow for use with either jacketed cable or discrete wires. Veam Connectors are largely used in the studio industry / HMI lighting (film and video applications - Flicker Free Electronic Ballasts and Dimmers + HMI lamps / projector lamps, fresnels, halogen lamps). Our CSOX19 connector series for the HMI industry is a 19-contact connector and is available in 4 shell styles with a quick disconnect threaded coupling. It is intermateable and interchangeable with the Socapex SL*419 series as well as the Litton-Veam VSC* series and used in dimmer control. Our SCPB connector series for studio lighting fixtures is available in 6 shell styles and 12 shell sizes utilizing a quick release reverse bayonet coupling. The SCPB connectors are intermateable and interchangeable with the Litton-Veam CIR series. These connectors are used with ballast and break-out boxes.
